ADAM™ rWBC HT

residual White Blood Cell Counter

ADAM rWBC HT gives you walkaway convenience and significant improvement in blood bank's productivity. It takes 50 minutes to count 50 samples.

KEY FEATURES & BENEFITS
- Walk-away
- 50min/50tests
- Easy to use
- Constant reliable result
High Throughput residual White Blood Cell Counter

ADAM rWBC HT automatically counts the number of residual white blood cells (rWBCs) in leukoreduced blood products for transfusion.

It ensures the number of residual leukocyte meets the standards used to minimize complications associated
with the transfusions performed in blood banks and hospitals.
Automated cell counting eliminates user bias or subjective interpretation
that can be found when counting residual White Blood Cells using other methods.

Principle
New technology behind the Accuracy

ADAM rWBC HT stains nuclei of White Blood Cell using Propidium Iodide (PI) and detects its fluorescent expression.

It automatically focuses on the slide and counts the cells from images,
then averages out the counting results to increase the accuracy and reliability.

Walk-away!

Not required compared to flow cytometry

ADAM rWBC HT, eliminates the need for the following items.

ADVANTAGE #1

Max. 50 samples at a time

ADAM rWBC HT counts up to 50 samples at a time, and it takes 45 seconds to count 1 sample.

It counts residual white blood cells (rWBCs) with an unparalleled ease and speed.
All procedures are automated once the sample loaded slides are inserted into the device.

ADVANTAGE #2

Easy and Simple procedure

Easy and simple sample prep process for multi countings.
In combination with a disposable microfluidic slide, the operation of ADAM rWBC HT is extremely simple and cost-effective.

ADVANATAGE #3

Substantially equivalent to flow cytometry

Refer to the comparison of residual blood cell enumeration methods between flow cytometry
and ADAM rWBC series in using different amounts of white blood cells aliquots.

This comparison was performed using both RBC and platelet samples.
