JuLI™ Br, the smart bright field cell movie analyzer, enables a variety of biological experiments for live bright field cell imaging and counting.

Increasing number of researchers are using live-cell imaging to study cellular functions.

The JuLI Br, a smart bright-cell movie analyzer, was developed to enable
a variety of biological experiments for live cell imaging.








Key Technology #1

Time-lapse image capture & recording movie

Cell-growth images were captured for 60 hours with 10 minutes interval in Hep3B cell line.



 


Key Technology #2

Automated quantitative cell confluence analysis

Cell confluence determined various cell lines using JuLI Br.









Key Technology #3

Real time cell growth curve

HeLa cell growth was observed 40 hours with 10 minutes intervals
and monolayer confluence was analyzed by JuLI Br.
For apoptosis assays, experimental group (channel 2) was treating Staurosporine.​

    It dims out or gets brighter over time when recording (the scope is placed inside an incubator). 

    If the scope is not enough warmed up, images may look gray due to the temperature difference between the scope and inside the incubator. Please place the scope in the incubator for an hour for warm-up before use.

    Data is not saved into a USB drive when other file formats than JPEG chosen.

    I see debris in the images taken. 

    1. Please check if there is any debris on the objective lens and softly wipe the objective using cotton swabs. If the problem persists, please contact us.2. The incubator environment may leave the scope vulnerable to erosion or mold if placed inside for an extended amount of time. Please store the scope outside an incubator when not in use.
